Rooms with a Kitchen, Fireplace Old Man Mountain Lodge Old Man Mountain Lodge has six deluxe units with either fireplaces or kitchenettes. It is situated about fifty feet from the front lawn along Fall River. Four of the units have kitchenettes which include two burner stove, small refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, dishes and pots and pans. Three of the units have remote controlled gas fireplaces. All have either a large balcony with sliding glass doors or a large private patio. Parking is at the door for all of these units. All rooms are no smoking. Room Descriptions Kitchenette units. Large comfortable rooms, with private balconies or patios. All have one Queen bed, Queen sleeper sofa/futon and fully equipped kitchenettes which includes a sink, two burner stove, small refrigerator and microwave. Sleep four. Fireplace units. Deluxe unit with Fireplace, private patio, 2 Queen beds, microwave, courtesy coffee and small refrigerator. Sleeps four. Deluxe unit with Fireplace, private balcony, 1 Queen bed, sleeper sofa, microwave, courtesy coffee and small refrigerator. Sleeps four. The rate is based on two people. Deluxe unit with fireplace, sliding glass doors to a private balcony, Queen bed, Queen sleep sofa and fully equipped kitchenette. Sleeps four with adjoining room available. The rate is based on two people. Family room with kitchenette - Large room with queen bed, queen futon and kitchenette and separate bedroom with queen bed. A deposit which prepays the first night or 30% whichever is greater will confirm your reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. There is a $25.00 cancellation fee if you book and cancel. There is no refund within 30 days. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover. Due to limited parking, all cars must register at the office. For the comfort of all, NO PETS are allowed on premises. Check in : After 2:00 p.m. Check out: 10 a.m. Rates are for one or two occupants except for the family room  in which the rate is for four.  Add $10 per night for each extra occupant (except infants under three years).  Maximum occupancy for the rooms is four and for the family room it is six including children. These are rooms, not to be confused with the cabins pictured on the home page.  If you must have a cabin please go to the page that says "Cabins on the River." A two night minimum stay is required during the summer and on holidays. There is a three night minimum for the family room.
